Are you a winner? Any fan possessing the winning ticket must email the Reds Community Fund (RCF) at Reds5050@reds.com for instructions on how to claim their prize.

Who is eligible to play? The Reds Community Fund Split the Pot 50/50 Raffle is open to all individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older that are located within the Raffle Purchase Area, which is the entire State of Ohio, during the Raffle Period at the time of purchase.  In order to purchase tickets online, your mobile device’s location settings MUST be enabled.

I am not a resident of Ohio, can I still play? Absolutely!  You do not have to live in the State of Ohio to participate in or win the raffle drawing.

Why does Reds5050.com require my location? Your current location is required to confirm eligibility. The raffle is only offered within the State of Ohio. For additional assistance with your location settings, please see the 'Technical Help' section below.

What forms of payment do you accept? We accept all major credit cards.

Where can I find the winning number? The winning number will be posted online at the conclusion of the raffle at www.Reds5050.com and www.Reds.com/splitthepot (as well as Reds Community Fund social media outlets such as FaceBook & Twitter) for a minimum of thirty (30) days. The winner does NOT need to be present to redeem their prize. The winner will have thirty (30) calendar days to claim their prize. If no winner claims the prize, the money will be donated back to the RCF.

Is the amount shown what I win? No, the amount shown on the website is the total amount of the jackpot. The winner will receive half of the number shown (less taxes and fees when applicable).

Where does the other half of the jackpot go? The remainder of the jackpot goes to the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund (RCF). For more information about the RCF, please click here.

Can I claim ticket purchases as a donation? Raffle tickets are not tax deductible. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries, or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the Raffle Tickets does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution for personal income tax purposes.

Can I transfer the ticket to someone else? Raffle Tickets may not be resold to any other party. Any Raffle Ticket which has been resold is void. All individuals who re-sell, purchase, or receive a Raffle Ticket in violation of the Official Raffle Rules are ineligible to enter the Raffle or to win the Prize.

Do I need to be present to win? No, raffle participants do not have to be present to win. However, the winning ticket MUST accompany all required documentation for someone to claim the raffle prize.

Are my winnings taxed? The Cincinnati Reds Community Fund is responsible for reporting all raffle winnings to the IRS and the winners are responsible for any and all tax implications. 

How long does it take to get my prize? Raffle prizes will be provided to the winner via check within thirty (30) business days of the raffle winner presenting the winning raffle ticket and all completed required paperwork to the RCF.

Is there a limit on the number of raffle tickets I can purchase? No, there is no limit to the amount of raffle tickets you can purchase during any raffle period.

I entered the incorrect email and did not print my raffle tickets. How can I get my tickets?  Please go to the Contact page to request a copy of your tickets or email here. 

Will I be notified if I won? The Reds Community Fund will not personally notify any potential Raffle Winner. Each raffle participant is solely responsible for checking his/her ticket number(s) against the public notifications regarding the winning ticket numbers.

Do you host non-game day raffles? Occasionally, a special event raffle may be conducted that may not be directly associated with a/any Reds home/road games.  If a special event raffle is conducted, all details of the raffle including, the raffle open date, raffle end date and time, winning number draw date and time, winner proceeds amounts, and winner claim instructions will be printed on each raffle ticket that is sold for the special event.

May I purchase tickets with a group? No. Each ticket belongs to only one person and only one person can claim the prize associated with a winning ticket.

What if there is a postponement or game cancellation? If for any reason the raffle entry period commences and the event gets postponed due to weather or any other unforeseeable circumstance, the entry period will immediately conclude. If the Raffle cannot be completed on the originally scheduled end date, the selection of the winning raffle ticket will be completed the first business day that the Reds Community Fund’s normal business operations resume, and notice of the winning draw number will be posted on at www.Reds5050.com and www.Reds.com/splitthepot.

Technical Help 

Whatif I already selected “Don’t Allow?” By selecting “Don’t Allow” you will not be able to purchase tickets. Ticket sales are geographically restricted to the State of Ohio. If you do not allow the system to verify your location, you will not be permitted to purchase tickets. 

What if I receive the following prompt: “You must allow your browser to share your locations to purchase tickets. Please click “OK” to reload this page, then be sure to allow your browser to share your location to share your location when prompted”? The browser should reload the page and ask you to share the location upon loading. NOTE: In some browsers, the pop-up window may say “close” rather than “OK” Try reloading the page by re-entering the website address again. You should be prompted to a new screen to add in your current location. If you have specified you never want to share your location, you will need to select “share my location” in your device settings. Please see below for instructions. 

What if I cannot purchase raffle tickets online due to location? If you are physically located within the State of Ohio limits but cannot purchase raffle tickets online due to your location, you may have selected “never share my location” in your browser. Please see below for instructions to allow sharing your location so you can purchase raffle tickets online. 

For iOS devices: 

  • Go to the Settings App
  • Select Privacy
  • Select Location Services
  • Ensure Location Services are on
  • Scroll down and select “Safari Websites”
  • Ensure Allow Location Access is set to “While using the App”
  • Chromehas the same setting if using instead of Safari

For Android devices (may vary depending on version): 

  • Go to the Settings App
  • Select Location and ensure that it is turnedon
  • Return to previous screen and select Apps
  • Go to Chrome
  •  Select Permissions
  • Ensure that Location is enabled
