REDS COMMUNITY FUND

Since its inception in 2001, the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund (RCF) has used baseball as a vehicle to enrich the lives of youth and to further develop the community. As an independent 501(c)3 non-profit affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, the RCF is dedicated to improving the lives of youth throughout Reds Country by reaching thousands of kids through free baseball, softball and education programs at the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy, as well as through the introductory Reds Fun At Bat program, Reds Youth Baseball and Softball Funding network and developmental RBI program. The RCF also partners with urban neighborhoods via the regional Field Renovation and annual Community Makeover efforts, which have pivoted recently to support urgent, front-line needs during the COVID-19 crisis.

The Reds Youth Academy provides free, year-round baseball and softball training programs to youth ages 4 to 18. It also provides underserved children the opportunity to become better students and well-rounded individuals with educational and vocational activities. Youth Academy programming brings education and sport together to provide underprivileged children an opportunity to level the playing field. Academy participation is intended for those who wouldn’t otherwise have access to these types of resources. The Reds Community Fund Split the Pot 50/50 raffle program will be operated during all Reds games throughout the 2021 season. Physical tickets will be available for purchase inside the ballpark from the time that gates open through the end of the game or online at www.reds5050.com. One lucky fan will be chosen as the winner at the conclusion of each jackpot timeframe. Fans may purchase tickets from volunteers located throughout the ballpark, by visiting the Split the Pot booth located on the main concourse near Gapper’s Alley or online at reds5050.com.
